For as long as I can remember, I have felt pulled to express myself through art. Creative outlets are integral to my social, political, and emotional expression, whether it be creating illustrations, photography, picking up a paintbrush, or tearing apart my mom’s coupon books for my early collages. My favorite mediums as of late are embroidery and multimedia collaging, but I enjoy exploring my muses through chalk, acrylic paint, and the occasional misshapen sculpture.
