Photography
Since my dad bought me my first digital camera in 2011, I have been hooked on photography. From winning state photojournalism awards for my high school newspaper to photographing political actions as a Communications Manager, I have always believed that capturing lively moments in stills is one of our best tools to preserve history for the changemakers of tomorrow.
Writing Sample
This is an Op-Ed I submitted to my undergraduate university newspaper during the 2020 uprisings in response to George Floyd and Breonna Taylor’s murders.
Web Design Experience
I have experience using Squarespace, WordPress, and Wix as tools for building websites. I have HTML coding experience in customizing small aspects of websites as well.

Annual Report
This is an annual report I designed and assembled using copy provided by the Director of Development + Fundraising. The report was used in funder briefings and shared with members through a newsletter I maintained.
One-Pager
I have designed one-pagers for several purposes, but my most common uses are fundraising or membership recruitment.
Content Creation
In all of my comms roles, both paid and unpaid, I have led content creation processes from beginning to end. Starting with pitching and content ideation, moving on to research and copywriting, and in many instances, graphic design and video editing, all the way to the moment of posting. I am highly experienced in making content that is engaging and reaches core audiences. I also practice regularly tracking analytics across all platforms, transforming the data into a digestible report, and sharing it with the necessary teams to inform the organization’s overall work.
